Human Resources Manager

An elegant, premier retirement community near the south end of Lake Washington seeks a qualified human resources professional to act as Human Resources Manager (HRM).

The HRM manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office, the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HRM carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting and staffing, performance management, compensation/benefits, compliance, employee relations/communication and human resources information systems (HRIS).

The preferred candidate for the Human Resources Manager position will also have operational experience in the Long Term Care industry.

Successful candidates will possess the following required qualifications:

*Two years of progressive leadership experience as a Human Resources Generalist in the Long Term Care or Healthcare industries overseeing at least 100 people.

*Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR)

*Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience (3 years) in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent; or Bachelor degree in business or related field

*General knowledge of employment laws and practices.

*Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.

*Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.

*Effective oral and written communication.

*Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.

*Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.

*Excellent organizational and time management skill

*Valid CPR and First Aid

Human Resources Manager will report to the Executive Director.

Salary/Supervisory/Exempt
Salary range: $40,000-$45,000
